Landwirtschafts Simulator 2011 Farming Simulator 2011 Field Status v2.0 mod download
This is version 2.0 of my mod Field Status. It's an ingame script that will display the status of the fields on your map. It will show what percentage of each field is ploughed, cultivated, seeded, and/or fertilized. For each crop planted, it will show the percentage of the field covered, and the crop's growth state (1 - 4). It will show the results of harvesting, meaning cut-short, cut-long, and windrow percentages will be shown as well. Also shown on the display are the map name, number of fields, and the hectares and acres for each field, along with the total for the map.

CHANGES IN THIS VERSION:
New Installation procedure (see below)
Added data for 26 maps (total = 31).
Major update to process for getting field coordinates. *Almost* totally automated now.
Updated processing of XML files (can handle maps with different names but same layout, and also maps with the same name, but different layouts).
XML Files are now in a separate mod: fieldStatus_XMLFiles, but the mod will be included with each new release of Field Status.
New HUD (thanks, grimber!), and added some info to the display. Also, the HUD can be moved to two different positions on the screen.
Key mapping is different. Using inputBindings now, so keys can be changed by the user.
The usual miscellaneous little changes.

INSTALLATION:
UNZIP "fieldStatus_v2_0_UNZIPME.zip."
COPY "fieldStatus_v2_0.zip" and "fieldStatus_XMLFiles.zip" to your mods directory.
NOTE: For most maps, you won't have to mess with the XML files. However, some edited maps may have the same name as the original, but have a different field layout (such as Orchard Farm Essex edit). If you are playing on one of these maps, you will need to UNZIP "fieldStatus_XMLFiles.zip." For each of these special maps, there will be a separate folder containing an XML file. This XML file needs to be COPIED to the savegame directory that you will use for that map. DO NOT copy it to the mods directory, but to a savegame directory.
The third file, "Maps.zip", should NOT be copied to the mods directory. It contains map images, which are just a guide to how the fields are numbered, and you can even print them out if needed. They are not PDA maps (some maps have their own numbered PDA's already).

See the license.txt file for licensing information. Even though I am not including the maps themselves in my mod, *PLEASE* respect the original map creator's wishes pertaining to NO modification and NO uploading to other sites.
The list of maps can be seen in the "Credits.txt" file, inside the zip file, and also in the support topic in the forum. If you have a favorite map that isn't included, I will be happy to get the data for you, and add it to a future release. However, please only ask for maps that are hosted here on ls-uk.info. It's easier to get permissions, and I just prefer to work with maps on this site. Just post a message in the support topic, or PM me (thebadtouch).
You will notice some lag in the game when the script is actually scanning the fields. How much lag there is will depend on your system. On mine, the default map takes about 15 seconds to scan all fields. The biggest map so far takes about 40 seconds on my system. There is a message that displays "Scanning field 'X' of 'Y'" so you'll know how far along it is. Field Status is meant to be a "snapshot" of your fields at a given point in time, just like the savegame feature, so it is not designed to be run continuously or even every minute, although you could if you wanted to.
I have tried to do my best to make things as accurate as possible, but no doubt situations or scenarios will come up that I did not foresee and that I was not able to test for. Hopefully, those will be rare occurrences. But hey, that's what future versions are for, right?!
This mod has not been tested on Multiplayer, so I don't know if it is MP-ready or not. If someone wants to test it on their map with MP, please do, and let me know what you find out.
